Film Project- Storyboard

The film opens with a wide shot to show the setting, which is the family’s house.
Then, with a handheld camera, we will go throughout the house into the daughter’s room to see her and her friend on the bed to start the plot.
To add perspective sound, the girls will hear the mother telling them that dinner’s ready and the camera will cut to them in the kitchen.
With a wide shot of the girls ready to eat dinner, we see the dad sleeping in the background.

In a point of view shot we get the daughter trying to wake her dad up.

Then a long take of the mom walking over to him and trying to wake him up. Followed by him getting annoyed and walking away.
After we hear the dad slamming the door, the camera cuts to a close-up of the door handle to show the dad locking the door.
Then the camera cuts back into the kitchen as the mom tells the girls to eat their food.

The camera cuts to show that time has passed, and we get a wide shot of the actors saying goodbye to each other, and Elle getting her backpack off the couch.
As Elle’s getting her backpack, the camera cuts to a point of view shot of the door handle. Still in Elle’s point of view, she unlocked the door to see the killer trying to come in.
The camera cuts to a wide angle of Elle running away.
Then we get a point of view shot of Elle trying to warn Brooke, but she sees that she has no service.

After, the camera cuts back into the house and we have a two shot of the killer walking up to the counter, grabbing the knife, then the mom turning around.
As the mom screams, the camera cuts into the daughter’s room and we get a sound perspective of the mom screaming.

After the mom screams, the camera cuts to a close up of the killer stabbing the mom.

The camera pans into a wide shot and a long take shows the daughter walking up, the killer killing her, and trying to open the locked door.

The camera shows the killer leaving then the screen fades to white, to show its morning, then the father is shown walking through the house in a long shot.
