Film Project- Audience Engagement Research (It)

My film and the movie It are similar in many different aspects. One way they are similar is our targeted audience. It targeted the younger generation using clowns and teenagers being the main characters to spark teens interests. It marketed their product by using billboards, TV, trailers, and social media. One persuasive technique they used was they had their actors and actresses use their own social media accounts to post about it and show their fans a new film they were starring in. This was very smart because there were very well known actors and actresses in the film that could've brought people who weren't interested in the plot to still see the movie because they're favorite celebrities were in it. One aspect I would use to market my film would be, different online and digital ways to reach out to people and to make a trailer and show it during TV commercials to spread awareness of the new film.
